

Visited Bagao Caves and waterfalls in Ainamoi. Beautiful but treacherous walk inside the Cave. Went to see bats and water pools. Slipped severally because they did not prepare us to come with good shoes but the trip was worth it.

Fort Ternan Prehistoric Site in Koru
Quite neglected place with very rich history on Kenyapithecus, a Homo Erectus species. Also found there are other fossils of plants and animals. Area is still active in terms of archaeology and paleontology research.

Holy Trinity Church in Kericho Town
ACK Diocese of Kericho Holy Trinity Church in Kericho Town. Built in 1950 and still being used to date. Beautiful architecture. We were in rush so unfortunately didn’t get much history about it.

TEA HOTEL, Kericho
Had a business meeting at TEA HOTEL Kericho. It has gone through a rough patch and is now being renovated. They’ve got very lovely grounds and 50 rooms under renovation. Hopefully they will be available by Mashujaa Day which is being hosted by Kericho County

About the the Event
This is a culinary tourism festival whose mission will be to preserve and strengthen the culture of each county in Kenya while presenting it to the public throughout the course of this event and give all the participants a chance to learn from one another and understand the cultural differences and similarities.
