NYFW Ports 1961

by Isabella on February 18, 2010

To kick off NYC fashion week, I had the pleasure of attending the mesmeric Ports 1961 show at the Bryant Park Promenade. The music, the collection, the hair, every aspect of the show was wonderful. The clothing enveloped traditional lines and earthy colors, with modern a new and modern spin. Plenty of draping, billowing sleeves, and cape-like jackets, Ports was spot on. The models floated down the runway with such grace, as their fierce wind-blown hair powerfully complimented the looks. Other details that were absolutely fabulous about this collection were the tights and shoes. A grey/blue fishnet, pumps to die for, and amazing asymmetrical two-toned oxfords, added pure perfection to this already amazing collection.

Here’s a look at the ethereal collection (If only I could play the same music, as it made the show so much more powerful and made the clothes come to life) :

Ports 1961 was heavenly..
