Popular Swedish label, Acne, known for its superb denim, ready-to-wear, and sublime shoes is now branching out to home goods. With an artsy-edgy-design inspired flare, designer Johnny Johanssen is spreading his wings and creating amazing pieces of furniture. Velvet pastels, denim coated, unique lines, these pieces are absolutely brilliant. Inspired by Sweden’s pioneer furniture designer, Carl Malmsten, Johanssen decided to tweak his looks by playing with them architecturally. Stretching, pulling, and playing with the shapes of the furniture, as he does in creating fashion garments, Johanssen has produced an amazing ode to Swedish furniture design.
